I had one in a 1293 and it wasn't exciting, even after I added 1.5:1 rockers as well. There are better (modern) cams about these days. [edit] SORRY FOLKS I meant the Wade 104, not the 140. |

Had one in my 1310 and it went ok for the time. I came down from a Wade 1760 I think it was - which IIRR was their 649 equivalent - which was a bit wild for Melbourne traffic every day, though it went like stink once you hit 3,500rpm. But that was late 70s and Mini cams have come a long way since then, and like Doc says there are much better grinds around now. |

Had this cam in a well modified 1310, although still had standard Cooper S rockers. had a very lumpy idle, came on song at 3000 RPM and revved freely to 7,000. Contributed to a very powerful engine. |

it will be very lumpy on a small bore not suited for road use in my books but they do very very well in a 1400 or 1500 ![]() |
