Thanks Ian. That was a really good article. I've read a few things from Keith Calver but I must have missed that one. Interesting thing was that the better valve sizes for the small bore engine are 31mm/26.4mm.

Yes mate the ports in my crossflow are 30mm I have no intention of making them bigger.
The shape of the intakes is really nice .The exhausts are quite large .Not sure why .Will be in the car shortly after lots of things sorted out.
Trust the blokes with flow benches and dyno and years of experience.You will find they can be secretive also
David Vizard had no secrets.He moved to bigger motors.

We had our head ported and flowed by Ian Fahey, and he was strictly after torque. He maintained optimum air speed as he wasn't interested in chasing horsepower as it was being built as a high performance street engine.

Yes Ian did the head for my car minimal metal removed but the results are stunning, found that Paul Ivey valves were worth 2 hp per cylinder, cheap horsepower.
