Pics of my boot before...

After installation of the "nearly" no-tool-required boot kit (it needed some hammertime!)

The boot looks neater, however it does rob the car of some boot space (note the oil container no longer fits standing up) and a flat tyre will be a real PITA. 8)

Looks like it went in easily and with no fuss and it seems so well constructed. How much did it cost you?

Where do I get one of these boot kits from or did you make it yourself? It looks great, well done.

If my memory serves me correctly, it was a smooth and almost swear free installation. :P I've forgotten how much it cost, around $100 delivered.

I bought it off ebay, but the guy is a member on ausmini..

If he doesn't respond to PMs, PM me and I'll give you his e-mail. 8)

I think its neat how the jack is packed away as well. Did you loose much boot space?

Was it still that well installed when you drove it after the installation?

I've got a 145 spare, and I took it for a drive and I didn't hear a *pop* to signify it had all fallen out of place. :)

Does anyone make a version for twin tanks? Or am I doing myself?

Looks great.
Is that a standard or long range tank. Looks a little bigger than that of my clubbie at a glance.

Morning.. or evening!

Glad it arrived ok as we had a bit of a problem with the courier, bit of a pain trying to resolve things over 16000miles (or however far it is) and a 10 hour time difference... not to worry eh!

Looks great, although it looks like the right hand side could do with adjusting a bit. The wooden packing block sometimes needs trimming to size as we leave it a little longer to accomodate the bigger spare wheels that people have. but this could be the jack... or the camera angle, hard to say without seeing it... and that's not going to happen anytime soon I dare say.

We do different colours, and sizes, 5gals, twins etc... but not till after christmas

Only drawback is carriage... it can be pricey, but I have access to other stuff (floor pan carpets, overmats, wind deflectors) which can bring the relative price down... or multiple kits to one address in Aus to share the p&p...

Anyway, back to my mini... still a shell, although it has a whole lot of new metal on now... :D

Fitted my Boot kit this afternoon, after picking it up from speedy today.

I am really impressed with the fit on my car. I ened up chopping the block down about 5-10mm and it sits perfictly level now.

Ended going in easier that i thought no tools were required and all seems quite steady, i reccomend it to anyone that's looking to tidy up their boot.
