5 weeks ago 1 AUD = 100 yen or close to
this week 1 AUD = 65 yen.
your holiday is going to cost you 40% more.
my brother is in the same boat, so we are watching it every day.

The Japanese LOVE their Minis. There are many shops that stock all manner of cars, parts, memorabilia and collectables.

Here are a few good places to visit:

Turtle Trading
There's one in Tokorozawa, about 25 minutes by train outside of Tokyo.

The other is in Yamate, Yokohama. You could visit this one on your way down to Kyoto.

This is a map (Japanese Mini Association) of many Mini related shops in Japan based on district:

Have fun and don't spend too much money! :D

Wow ! Wonder if they call Minis " Turtles " in Japan ?

Well, i have been looking for a stainless steel dashboard to replace my factory fitted one on my 93` Cooper. if you see one would you mind getting contact details so i can call him up and buy
it over the phone ? They are so hard to get but sure there are a few lying around there showrooms !!

Pm if that ok - Thanks
