i recently bought a set (5) of jelly bean mags, not knowing that the one on the bottom of the pile was actually 12 inch instead of 10 inch.

similar to this:

what i want to know is, are they rare? and how much is a good, straight one worth? if they aren't anything special i might see if i can return it.
the one i've got is a cheviot 5"x12"

thanks, evan.

Looks nice - chrome looks better than standard alloy I reckon, and is less common. If not chrome, this wheel is very nicely polished and my are eyes are getting bad!
Centrecaps are apparently not so common as they are hard to get (original ones).

They are period mags so good for that modded original ( :? ) look......

the pic above is not actually the one i have..mine's not shiny chrome..

the mag unfortunately doesn't have a cap, so may devalue it a bit?

i'd take a photo of it, but it's currently under a pile of pallets in dad's ute

They pop up on ebay from time to time( i think theres a set of 5 on there at the moment) in various condition and a few odd ones show up too so you shouldnt have a drama replacing your 12 with a 10
As to what theyre worth it depends who you talk to, some rave about em as the ultimate period accessory and some ( like me) think they are gawd awful.Youll most likely get prices from both ends of the scale here so meet in the middle  and yer set

i don't think much of the 12 inch (5 holes), but i like the 10 inch.

i'd be interested in swapping is anyone local has a good 10inch mag

Two 12" Jelly-beans sold on eBay for $20.50 a few days ago.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320511685229&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I happen to have three 12" Jelly Beans on my trailer, but I don't really need a fourth.

Cheers,

I think they are about the same as the std ROH 10x5" mags. The jelly beans may be a little rarer. For a set of 4 in fair condition I'd say around $200 so $50 each give or take 10 to 20 bucks depending on overall condition, center caps and wheel nuts.

agree, 10x4.5 though. They work well on cars with no flares and clubbys.

that's what i figured, so that's about what i paid. good rims without any scuffs, but one was 12 inch!

thanks for the link bnicho. i thought i went through most of the completed ebay listings, but i didn't find that one. they're obviously not as popular or worth as much as the 10 inch.
