Most original Mk1 S rims were Birch Silver on the outside and a Reddish Brown on the inside, closest colour would be Indian Red. (see the rebuild aricle in Mini Experience}

Red or grey primer... I bought four brand new wheels about 30 years ago. Two came in red primer and two in grey.

Excellent LP883s with no gutter gash or "history" etc should fetch 120-150each in today's market.
Original LP882s can be as much as $1500/set :shock: now...the repros don't look quite right
