Hi all,
Thought I would share. Some may know that these kits are good or bad, but either way I've committed to giving it a go - didn't really like the idea of the thermostat mounted ones, and the Minispares one I had was crudely constructed and needed modifying before it would work.
Anyway here is a pic. Seems like a good fit so far...

Interestingly they aren't too widely available....

Just a flat plate (four holes for the bulkhead bolts), and a single ear pointing out.

Works with stock mounts on firewall and a shortened and welded stock brace.

I've always liked the DSN Retrosport billet one but they are a bit more expensive. They have a lot of really nice looking billet parts for mini engine bay and interior.

Agreed - I bought one of theirs for the clutch end engine steady, but liked the idea of not using the thermostat housing for load bearing....
They have also come up with various sized breathers for the transfer housing - quite compact without the gauze can.

Wow even more bling! wouldn't match the rest of my 40yr old engine bay



I thought so too but 10 years later, no problems. But then I have a remote so it's sort of a little overkill to have 5 engine mounts/anchor points...
