I would like to have my cooper S registered on the Mark 2 list. The body number on the radiator is YG2S4 2392. The engine number is 9F XEY 54301, it still has this origional engine. The body colour is Connaught Green with a white top. The build date is 9/70. The car was purchased new from Sparco Motors, 161 Murray st, Hobart on 28/06/71 by R.N Allie, 73 Stanforth Court, Newtown, Hobart. The registration was NB4356. This information is in the origional Driver,s handbook & passport to Service Manual within a plastic Sparco Motors cover. The car is in very good origional unrestored condition. I realise that this information should be sited on the car by a qualifed person to verify its originality.
Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian. Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have a nice car to play with.

Thanks for the information. We'll arrange for it to be added in the next register update. If you are able to get a clear photo of the ADR compliance plate and the radiator cowl stamping, and/or photo of handbook page it will support the car's positive ID. Please PM (top left of page where it says NEW MESSAGES) to me, or feel free to post in this thread.

I am fairly new to this website and more comfortable with a spanner than a computer. Can you direct me to information on how to attach photos to a post?.
Many thanks,
Ian
