Go historic! Then it's <$100 a year.

Otherwise it depends on age, sex and postcode for your greenslip.

Expect around $500 for CTP and $250 for registration.

Here in Queensland is about $380-400 for 6 months including CTP, It's been a while since I looked at some registration papers so I cannot remember how much 12 months costs.

He has been building a replica Aussie Clubman in France. Not sure if he is asking how much it cost in 1977 or how much it would cost now.

I'm assuming Arnaud wants a set of Australian registration plates to put on his Australian mini in France.
Unfortunately you can not just buy a set of Australian plates without the car being past for inspection via a Blue Slip.
Then you can only get it registered after you pay the Third Party Insurance.

Arnaud
You can probably buy "fake" Australian registration plates on eBay.

Regards
Phil

So to do it properly you would need a compliance plate, rego papers, number plates and a radiator shroud.
Sounds like it would be easier to buy a mini then get these bits sent over to France.

I have some old VIC plates and associated rego papers, but for a Rover.
Who knew there was a market for 'expired' number plates?
Unless you want to rob a bank perhaps.

Actually now I'm left wondering why the RMS didn't ask me for them back!

in France, there is a collection of car body (French Federation of Vintage Vehicles) which provided a document to make french papers.
