Can anyone tell me if the Mini k speedometer is in miles or kilometres. My mini is a 07/70 model.

Thanks. The mini came with a kilometre per hour speedometer. I'd much prefer a miles per hour speedometer.

There was a km/h round nose speedometer in km/h made in australia in the same colour as the mini k 90mph and cooper s 120mph.

There were 2x 140KMH Oz Moke ones. One was 800 turns/km = pretty close with a 3.44 diff. I run one since my 200KMH one died..
The other, was 860? turns/km, checked pretty close to spot on with a 3.64 diff and 10" wheels. I put one in Barney.

New cars were fitted with metric speedometers on or after 1974. Road signs were changed on 1 July 74, so cars would have changed from that time.

If you're interested I can put a picture up of it. The face is in good shape just the rubber type gasket behind the glass has perished.

My Mini K speedo is in km/h and goes to 140...

You would need a one owner Mini K to confirm the kph speedo.

I am sure hundreds were changed over the years for those that can't workout the conversions in the head.
