to all those in Bne who are not going to Bathurst (me inc :-( )
we are having a party at my dads place sat nite & carry on for Bathurst TV viewing sunday
call me for details address etc
Live rock n roll band, big bon-fire, food etc sat night
Bacon n eggs etc sunday breaky
BYO drinkies & Ice
camping avaiable, (5 acre property),
signed contract on the place so it will be the last party there

Didn't see any minis on the tv. It was all about brocky and the supercars.

There was a green mini on the BROCK movie right at the start on Sunday night. On the racetrack at Hume Weir. It actually passed Brocky's A30 at one stage. I thought the movie was a bit like a soapy. Can't beat the real thing.

I thought it looked like the Fred Sayers Lwt...dressed to look like Don Hollands car (which it was!)

Mini on Brock will be Dave Roberts, the EH Steve Pitman.... Didn't catch the others.
Request went out for "extras" earlier this year ... Have been waiting to see how it turned out.

Re Channel 10's crappy coverage, I saw about 4 seconds of the Mokes in the drivers parade. That was it... :-(

Don't have sponsors = don't get air time.
Someone will eventually work out there's money to be made promoting older car racing. There's plenty of programs on late night TV about older cars which attract lots of ads.
