Aquired a steering wheel and boss , is alloy and woodgrain, only 310mm across, has indy written on front and momo on back. Anyone know much about these? Wood needs refurb , cant post pic till tomorrow

Hiya,

yep, saw it on eBay.

It is a very early Momo - you can tell by the stacked MO MO logo, and the 'indy' writing is in an earlier typeface.

But being bent and cracked - probably need to clarify exactly how cracked - takes some/a lot of the value off of it.

A perfect one of these would be worth a fair bit, personally I would maybe pay $400, perhaps more, for a very good to mint early one.

But this could just be a garage wall ornament, so significantly less?

I do like Indy wheels, they look 'classic'.

Boss would be worth starting price on its own though.

cracks are just in the grain wood, nothing broken off. The bend could press out very easily. Sand of the wood and fix up any slight cracks before varnish and would be good. Im happy if I get starting price though, so anything after that is a bonus :-)
