Been away a while.

Building a house and the cars are away at Cooper Hilton resort in the sticks.

So, as a treat I went out to where the 970 is agisted to take Claude for a run.

Most embarassing and bloody hot. Claude was not in the mood. Not sure if it was old fuel, the fuel pump or a random electrical fault. He kept cutting out at random cycles. Good for 400 meters and then not even good for ten. Grrrrr.

Took me 4 hours to get 2 clicks in 35 degree heat. Earnt a beer or two.

So, what i found was a dodgy fuse. I was sure it was fuel starvation but as soon as i swapped in a new fuse the bloody thing flew.

I should have stayed on the couch watch the cricket!!!

Yup, he wuz very out of sorts and paid me back in spades.
New house has garage space for him & Moneypit. Gotta spoil him until June when the build is finished.

I will be back to his shed, weather permitting, in the next day or so and give him a real Xmas present.

Am hoping Moneypit will be better behaved.

I reckon a day out with a mini beats a day watching cricket. No contest..
