LOL I wanted my new rego sticker with Leyland but then I told them his year andthey said "Oh no our system doesnt recognise it as that". I felt like telling them to recognise this! :twisted: :twisted:

yeah the prob is that glasses guide (most companies go off this) have them down
as morris for the early ones...but ALL AUSSIE CLUBMANS ARE LEYLANDS!!!!!!

I find it offensive!
I'm very particular with my car, god knows hes pissing me off at the moment so bad but hes still a LEYLAND not a MORRIS!

You need a sticker made up "I'm not a Morris I'm a Leyland" :twisted: Of course it sounds better if you read it aloud in your best elephant man voice :wink:

I was thinking you guys where being a bit silly thinking that you didnt
want you car called a morris over a leyland.
Then i thought i'd be pissed if someone called my morris cooper s a leyland clubman.
No offence just understanding we all like different things.

Heck when I was driving my brick back from Adelaide I had a bloke comment on how great my "Cooper S" sounded pulling into the rest area, I just rolled my eyes and nodded saying "yeah mate" :roll: :lol:

i had a bloke at maccas one day before a cruise point to Vivian (over the cooper s and other round nose) and say i had a cooper s just like that one day!!! ;

wills i have a 71 clubman that has a badge and it has the leyland roset then the word mini and after that clubman gee so it must be a leyland mini clubman

seriously though i've had people ask me if it's a cooper S..
it's like when people look at an impreza and think its a wrx, the car is only remembered by it's performance / race winning model.
