Has anyone replaced their tyres themselves? Is this something simple to do at home without scratching the rims? I know how to rebead a tyre and feel as though it shouldn't really be more difficult. All advice welcome.

It is possible but I doubt you'll get them off without scratching paint off. Putting them on is different, good rubber mallet and a bit of balncing. Don't forget to take off/put on, on narrow side.
