Well then you're clearly a helluva lot more organised then I'll ever be.
This is probably why you're doing the project you want to and I'm not.
Hats off to you.

Hopefully when I get into my new house I can pull my finger out and get organised to do a few side projects as well.

Bob, this has been the culmination of probably 4 years research, and saving so I guess I should be organised, but you're right you only get to this point if your right into it (read obsessed)...

Mr Bob, speaking of lists, I wrote out a list of the things I would have to do and how long each step would take (work is paying me to do a project mgt course!). I am up to step 188 of 233!

I have a to do list which started out at 25 items, and cross things out as I do them or add extra items as I come across more problems. It now stands at 39

Yeah Dan, slightly different beasts but some of the info still applies, hope you get some tips out of it.

Cheers

Geez MiniVan I didn't think anyone would be remotely interested. I have a full schedule done in Microsoft Project and the Project Plan isn't quite complete (too busy working on the project), I'll stick it on the website for those interested...

Hey Matt,

Yeah nice work and well done!!
I will have to send in some pics of my conversion to the forum readers if I can get my finger out. The conversion is stalled at the moment - just waiting for the Qld Dept. Transport to give me the nod.

Lets hope the motor doesnt have to come out again. Ok now onto that alternator........

Cheers,
Andrew from Brisbane

Andy you made it. Yeah famous last words...The engine is out again as I have to make up a custom gearchange lever to get around the problem of the cone tower. A problem but more a delay than anything else. Watch for some wizbang welding and metalworking   . Do you envisage having the same problem given that yours and mine are in a similar location?

how long is the distance between the bulkhead (big box thing on firewall) and the front of the turbo (this is the forward most position isnt it?)
