in need help to find out which way the heater and choke cable are positioned in a mk 1

Heater cable/knob should be in the centre switch panel, the one to the far right, and the choke should be between the panel and the steering column (me thinks?) The windscreen washer pump was on the left of the switch panel, so i think thats where it all goes...

On my Mk2 `matic the heater is left in switch panel, washer push button is in right of it, choke is a T handle to left of column.
Early cars & Coopers the choke was in the RH side of switch panel and washer button separate, I think. 20 years since I had one of those..

Hi,
These items are in the centre piece from the left,
Heater,Wiper,Ignition key,lights,choke.
Just right of these, is the windscreen water pump next to the steering column.
