Dutchy your fabrication skills are just incredible. Fantastic job and loving your work.
Are you working closely with a certifying engineer for registration purposes?
Do you have to upgrade anything else in the car? Eg heater/demister and burst proof door locks and fuel inlet restrictor for unleaded fuel. This last one is redundant really but I had to put it in to get a commodore v6 swap into another vehicle that I did engineered because that clause has never been repealed in NSW.
Do you know yet what the requirements for brake testing are for rego?
Great work mate. I love your videos on YouTube.
Cheers

Lots of questions.
I discussed with an engineer before I started. I wasn’t going to do it if it couldn’t be road registered.
We sat down and ran through all the requirements including wheels, track width, brakes, subframe, suspension, torsion test & requirements, steering column, seats, ECU, emissions, sunroof, cooling & etc.
Starting with a pre 1973 vehicle meant that I had less restrictions for engineering.
Brake requirements will be the same as any other requirements for roadworthy.
Engineering on the other hand, correct reservoir sizes for the calipers required.
Car needs a heater to demist the windscreen for roadworthy. I have bought an electric one for this as I didn’t want to use the coolant to heat it given the location of the engine.
I hope I have answered all your questions.
Cheers
