How are the boot board mounting points fitted to the boot floor? The replacement mounts have holes in them. Im not sure if they bolt down or are spot welded to the boot floor of my Cooper S. Cheers

All three brackets are pop-rivetted to the floor and the boot aperture lip.

Be warned that the depth available under the board is for a 1960's tire width.
I bought an old original boot board only to find that the A008 spare, lifted the board up about 3cm above the brackets. I made some spacers and then found that I had to unpeel the vinyl and plane down the edges of the board, as the boot tapers higher up.
Good luck; let us know if you can think of a better solution.

My carpeted boot board sits on the A008 / 5" Contessa, the RH side has 2 pieces of timber attached for support. I can just tilt the whole thing out.
Yes I have 2 tanks now, but it's not an S so no care for originality.

The rear seat back boot board mounts (two of) are also pop-rivetted on.
