The brake pedal does get a lot of force applied to it. That is why BMC made the Cooper S brake pedal thicker. I have bent a standard pedal on the racetrack.
I have seen a lot of failures from chrome plating. :cry:

That's just a sample of some of the things I had done.

I also have the handbrake blinged and foot pedals.

It isn't chrome, it is Nico-Shine. Completely different process.

Makes it much easier to clean.

Having a few bits done on the Cooper, just got them back, have to get them installed as yet.

John's just so busy keeping up with all the work on the minis he doesn't have much spare time.

Wonder why?

Years ago when I worked at QANTAS Engineering I used to get tons of stuff Nickel plated for a slab of beer :wink: Aaaaahhhhhh those were the days.... :lol:
