hey guys just thought i would show my face around,

new to the mini side of things, my current car is a mazda 323 wagon 1986 recently resprayed dark blue buy myself and dad(ohh i also welded in a factory electric sunroof aswell :) ), with turbo front end and soon to go in is the 1.8 twincam turbo,
now to the mini side of things, my dad and i are halfway threw my mums mini rebuild,

its a 77 clubman ls, light metalic blue in colour, the 1275 is getting redone atm borred out to 1310 and what not, should be back in a few weeks for us to put it back together, we have extractors, mild cams, and cooper s twin carbs for it, we have completly rewired the whole car and hidden all the wires in engin bay, the way the poms should have done it the first time :P , ive put central locking and alrm in,a and stereo etc

new hood lineing, 12 mags, door trims, reupholsted seats(buy previus owner) and a few more goodies, oh and also to arive shortly are out 8.4" disks :D

also have another clubman ls that been repainted yellow(which was same blue as mums 1) has a hackjob sunroof installed  , im thinking of buying it off my old man and restroing it but the hole in the roof has put me off, im not sure if im to buy another square nose or round nose 1 in the futre, my goal is dark metalic blue, green or red, with the four chrome driveing lihts across the front and white roof and white stripes on bonnet(if i end up round nose), seen some pics of the round nose and there starting to grow on me more then the square nose(only thing i dont like is the dash in round nose), and pout a 1275 in aswell,

i spose you get the jist of
cheers

blue

ill get some pics up of my car when its finished aswell as the mini of course

gday matty
1. austin minis are very rare. so your hunt will be very worthwhile.
there are 3 austin minis on this forum that i can safely name, 3 out of 100 members
2. chester hill is perhaps nowhere near parramatta in my opinion
unless you are in the villawood area and jet up woodville road
do you have any minis of your own

Hey all, Better introduce myself, 26 year old male residing in Brisvegas. Formally owned about 20 mini's all up includingmy pride and joy, a 65 Panelvan. Career change forced me to get rid of em all, and the shed full of parts. Two years down the track, the time is available again to Mini my life away, hence discovered Forum by accident and well here I am. Currently looking for moke (Check out Wanted Section) to fire the passion once again.
