MiniVan... you asking about the SC12 supercharger kit??

If yes, here is the PM i send to everybody who asks..... NOTE: Any body who is interested, read this first, then PM "92" or myself for more info. "92" is the Ausmini user who builds these kits.... I just have a bit of supercharging experience.

The kit is made by a guy called "Ben" who lives in the Barossa Valley (South Australia) His mobile number is **PM me for number**. He does post these kits interstate (at cost to you)

The price as of April 16 was $850... that is for eveything pictured in the supercharger thread started by me (which I assume you have already seen). I suggest you check the price with him, as it is possible he may have raised the price since.

Other parts NOT included, but which you will still require are:

-"HS6" S.U. carby with a left hand bowl.
-SC12 supercharger.
-Centre main crank bearing strap.
-I would advise you to get your head's chambers enlarged, or a decompression plate fabricated to lower compression.

And thats about all I can think of at the moment.

For more information, or to order a supercharger kit, you can PM Ben on Ausmini.
He is this user ---->http://www.ausmini.com/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=919

Thanks
Nathan, supercharged 850

His number has been removed from that message for security reasons, PM me for his number if you cant get hold of him thru emails.

Ta.

This sounds a bit stupid but how adaptable are your kits to fit the BMW Bini super charger like they do in the UK?
just thinkgin about going down that path with my next motor to do a bit of drag racing with.
ANy ideas would be great as the motor will be a 1360 and i think the SC12 could just be a bit small and the SC14 kits dont fit any way.

Bini supercharger wont fit. Its totally different.

SC14 probably could adapt to it with a few mods to the inlet manifold and a different carby manifold.... but will still be a challenging project.

Ben MIGHT be doing some SC14 tests already... but he might also be too busy with other things.

let me know if he decides to do anything that will be forthe bigger motors as im very keen to do something like that.
just doing a supercharged 998 or 1098 just doesnt do it for me anymore. i want bigger and better now.
I spent the first 6years on minis making 1098's go quicker than 1380's but it just gets too expensive and i might as well sink that money into a bigger motor for more reward.
best one to date was a 109 in a mini station wagon 1km straight doing 194km/h and could do a 17sec quarter mile but this was all 6800ft above sea level.

This supercharger kit is going onto my 1310.....

There is no reason why it shouldnt work. My previous car was an AW11 MR2 with TRD and HKS upgrades, it ran a flat 13 with the same model supercharger feeding it.

No reason why it wont work on an A-series over 1300cc.
