Woo Hoo. I gained a gross taxable amount of $4125.09 for the latest financial year. That means i get $157 tax  .
All of that will be returned as i'm under 18 and didnt earn over $6K.
I know its not much but at least its something.
It will be going towards the paint crap.
i gotta get 2 new R door hinges, rear valance, "S" flares, and chrome trim.
Then the flares, valance, hinges, touchups have to be painted as well as the valance being welded on first.
fiddle sticks i hope the bill isnt too big.
I'm guessing around 500 but not too sure. I will take it to a crash repairer for them to do the work. (I think a crash repairer would be the best - welding and painting all the time)
I've looked at a few places and Kent Town Auto Crash or something looks pretty good. Anyone in adelaide know anyone who can do a good price and good results.

What will everyone else be buying for their minis with the tax return, if any.

PS. What are they calling the "tax return" now?
PPS. I'm ****ing unemployed and wanting work; i'm on ColesMyer's 'talent pool' for waiting for an available position.
Who knows where i can get a bloody job?

Sorry Will,

I just got informed we're taking 5 new apprentices on at work up here. But I believe all of those positions will be going to the half a dozen or so work experience guys that were here earlier this year.

My tax return is probably gonna buy me a small bottle of Flash-lube LMFAO.

Lucky I stayed JUST under the next tax bracket too.

ah ha. My overtime got me this year. I OWE $450 to the tax man. Now that bites the big one.. oh well, cest la vie. Yet again another disincentive to be a hard worker in Australia.

Well the cheque should be a little more than Will's but it definately won't be enough for the disk brake conversion that is next on the list. So I suppose I just keep saving.

and another thing......

i've got shares and investment accounts..... everytime these mature, you get interest which is untaxed. But come tax time, you gotta claim the interest as income, more interest is more tax. It doesnt matter how smart you are with your money, the government always wins.... sometimes its better not to have bank accounts....
