Hi All,

Niall from Kew,Vic.Have always loved european 4's but fell in love with the minis after seeing the original italian job in my youth (I know, cliched!). After wanting a mini for years found a great little number in a garage in mentone after looking at a few not so healthy ones. It is a very standard 78 Clubman, had only 50,000 on the clock when I bought it. The lady had owned it since new and gave it a hug before I took it away. Have loved owning it but now wanting to hand it on to someone who will appreciate it and look after it as I don't really have the time nowadays. Hoping to get in a cruise or two with people from the forum before someone buys it. Have some pics (and the ad) online at http://www.southridgesolutions.com/mini/

Might get back to the world of mini in a few years, but probably as a second car. Would love to get a mini k van. I play bass guitar and getting the amp and bass in the car is a bit of joke at present. Bit worried about the interior.

All the best,

Niall[/url]

Hi I'm Rocco

I am a new member and thought it would be a good idea to join this forum.

I own a 1969 Morris Cooper S, I have had it for 4 years now, before that I used to own a 67 Deluxe

My website is:

www.users.bigpond.com/j_staltari

P.S. I'm chasing a tin tank clutch master cylinder, it doesnt matter what condition it is,as I will be reconditioning it.

Hi Rocco, welcome to ausmini!
That is an excellent looking car you have there. How long have you had it?
I like your comment about clubmans too, but don't go saying that round here
too much, OK?

Im a big fan of all mini's, old or new. Any mini is a good mini. Roundie, Clubbie or Beamer.

I did that website about 3 years ago and haven't edited since. My green cooper s still looks the same but now I have chrome mesh headlight guards fitted and changed to the amber indicator lenses and fitted a Smiths 8000 rpm tacho.

I have owned this mini for around 4 years now.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Roc

As the newest member to the forum, I decided to introduce myself. I'm a currently a non-mini owner, and due to lack of time and garage space considering getting a restored Mini K or similar type of round nose. I don't want the responsibility of being a custodian of a Cooper, and want a fun car not a commuter.

My plans are to get a good sensibly modified K, spoil it, and hang onto it, so if you are looking for a good home for your baby feel free to let me know.

My membership for the NSW mini club will be in the post on Monday, and I look forward to learning from and bantering with you guys.

The riceburner / family mover/ work mobile will take up all the room, leavig nuthin for the mini. Regardless, I intend to get an approriate cover / rust preventer and security measures to look after the brick.
