thanks bob, yeh will have to get down to the next mcc meeting and sign up. Would like to run at the super sprint you mentioned at oran park later this year.
I was actually going to start another thread on that soon. We have some problems with clashing dates for that event and need all the competitors we can get. I reckon we should try and round up AS MANY ausmini guys (and gals  ) as possible and all have a run there.

And Brad, same licence, (L2S - about $94) you could run a hillclimb with us at the end of next month - FUN FUN FUN!!

dont think there is any dean......I had some guys from the mcc come around and look at mine when they were looking for cars for motorex car show and they seemed to be ok with it, they did make sure it wasnt a geniune GT, but other then that they seemed pretty cool about it.

no we don't tolerate your kind......fark that's a dumb thing to say.....crap there is about 800 members in the club....each with a different opinion, just like anywhere you go. some will love hybrids, some will hate them.

Mate I hope all of the conversion crowd come along - it'll add a whole new dimension to things.

No there's not that many YET, but I hope this will change. If you guys come along and a few of the others that are underway bring theirs along that would be awesome.

As far as being tolerated, 99% of people in the club would love to see any Mini at all - especially something that's had as much work done on it as you guys have put into yours.

Like any large group of people, there's always going to be one or two who don't like something, but they DON'T speak for the club. There's guys there who don't like something that doesn't have the right brand of hoseclamp, but the majority of people want to see something new and interesting - just look at the interest Brad's car created at the Swap Meet (ps you still owe me a ride!!).

If anyone knocks your car ignore them - the club is for all people into minis.
Hope to see you there soon.

Hey Brad,

Is there any room left for a run in the Dyno Day for a tired 1100?

The only problem is if I come along I will be there early and have to leave early. I have a wedding to go to in the afternoon.

Let me know if you can accommodate me?

Simon
