Come on...this HAS to be dodgy....

Listed on eBay close to midnight Sunday. In 12 hours to 10am Monday morning there are 14 bids (6 different bidders). Like there are THAT many people looking for a Mini in the 'early am' hours on a Monday morning!

Seller is a Pommie, car is a Pommie 2000 model, yet it's here in OZ?!? :?

Photos are in Pomgolia too  Far out......

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 4568733652

EDIT: Highest bidder's location is....United Kingdom....what a surprise!

The title states this: LOCATED IN NEW SOUTH WALES (DALMENY), yet you picked up another dodgy point. The blurb states this: Item location: Newcastle, United Kingdom

 Even more dodgy now!!!

I think the seller is opening the door to places or people wjo'd want to import the car.
It is in the UK, and even if it is australian complied, that wont get around the car costing around 60k to your door.

The only way to know for sure is to email the owner for an address to drop by for a look. If they won't allow it, there is something fishy going on.

He does say that the car has been imported, that would be impossible in the country of origin (uk). He probably registered wrong. sounds bit too cheap but...

you can bring it in a personal import as long as you have owned it for 1 or 2 years in another country to get it past the bs
makka

This guy didn't pass it's high school or something, i dont think it's a scam just a stupid mistake.
I looked at some of the past items sold by this guy and he was selling a 1998 FIAT PUNTO SPORTING 16V WHITE with the location being newcastle, Staffordshire
United Kingdom. Hmmm coincidence i think not.....
OK then next item in the list is a transmitter for an ipod located in Crewe, United Kingdom and only posts to the UK.
What a moron..... :D
