Well, I got the crank today.
Also picked up a standard Cam (soon to be an RE13  ).

Need DESPERATELY a set of small journal 1275 rods.

Anyone got a set they wanna part with??

Thanks.

Oh, also after a spider drive from a cam/oil pump.

Cheers. :?

I know Chong has a spare spider drive, but he's in US for another week or more..
They used to be cheap new, not listed by Karcraft now.
But MG Heritage do. 8) Sorry no have price.

Did you ask Graham or Greig about S rods?
Sorry, I don't have a spare set..

Hi Bob, Sorry I don't have a spare set of S rods... I did have one.

You can have my spider drive, pump and cam, but that means I need a pin drive 1275 (wide lobe) cam in return as I was planning on putting this pump and cam into my 1330 build...

And yes I am in the US and will be back in 2 weeks time... :?

Yeah thanks guys.

I will DEFINITELY get a new oil pump don't worry - just need the drive. I'll find out if they're not much new I'll get one as well. With the rods, I have to hunt around today to find a set.

AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's one step forward and three steps back with this piece of F%&king S#@T !!!!!!

OK Ok, now that's out of my system again.
I have to vent every now and then - saves me breaking something (well something else anyway).

Just lined up a set of cooper S Rods. Beauty.
GR Checked out my new carb - no kit even required. Beauty.
GR Checked the zorst - seems fine and my extractors aren't as bad as I thought.
Nothing in the zorst department needs replacing. Beauty.

Took my newly acquired crank to Spiro - F%^KED.

ARRRRGH!!!

The hunt starts again.

If anyone has a large journal 1725 crank (1100s) or know where I can get one FAST,

PLEEEEASE let me know!!

He charges $140 for a straight A series regrind, and for an offset grind (to stroker) including the mains, he charges $240.
Pretty cheap really- there's 1/8" of metal to come off each crankpin.
