I don't want to sound like a tool, but what is a 12G1316 head?

My in laws have a spare one in their recent booty haul.

thats good for a 998. turbo though so that would help enough to put others off.
I know a guy who is running a 850 supercharged motor and it blows away 1380 N/A motors easily.

I want ot see what will happen with a 1380 turbo motor or my new project is a 1360 super charged motor. the way i figure it if your gonna do it do it right.

It's a 1275 smog head, used on 1275LS and late 1275 Moke.
Basically a 12G940 with air injection into the exhaust ports (same idea as your Clubby S used to have once...)

They port out just as well as a 12G940 does, or better. Vizard says they are thicker around the exhaust ports. But they are no thicker around the inlets- I struck water in mine right where Vizard said I would.. then brazed it up after no head place in Sydney wanted to fix it. 8)
No it doesn't leak, but I won't be making the inlets any bigger!

Dunno yet, cant get more than 5psi out of it .....

I'll have a double-check of everything on Saturday....
Maybe just need a different restrictor on the boost control line.....

WIll chat to Wayne from TurboXS anyway......

Should be good for about 16Psi.. blower is good for about 230Kw on a Familia GTX, so no flow worries there, also getting a new inlet tube made up with Mandrel bends and about 2" diameter.... should flow a "little" better....

Will try to get some fittings added to it while I'm there for some extras......
