My catalogue arrived in the post last week, and I have made a list of the parts I intend to buy to fix up several issues with the Mini.

So far the list comes to about $590

Ball Joints (x2 Sets)

Front Wheel Bearings (x2 Sets)

Tie Rod End (x2)

Washers (For Tie Bars)

Clutch Master Cylinder (New Style, Plastic Tank)

Brake Master Cylinder (New Style, Plastic Tank)

Brake Hoses (Font & Rear)

Bootlid Wire

Is There anyhwere else that has competitive/cheaper prices ? I just want to know if I have an option of shopping around, or if Karcraft are the best option.

Probably not much in it though.

Sorry no... I'm not running a Mini business.. so I pay the same as you guys.
But Karcraft's pricing is pretty sharp, as they are importers/distributors for lots of engine parts, not just Mini stuff.
eg AE engine parts, Federal Mogul (Vandervell) bearings, Brake Equipment, Quinton Hazell, Delphi, etc.

Many of the smaller Mini places buy from them.

All the parts for my rebuild at AMC came through Karcraft.

I think just over 500 aint bad for all the parts I need, was expecting more.

So in a few weeks I should be able to purcahse.

Do you know if they take Direct Deposit ?

Otherwise I may need to drive down and pay cash.

Max, AMC add about 20% to the Karcraft prices......

Pretty sure they could arrange direct deposit..... just give 'em a call ....

If you ask them REAL nice, they might send you a "Special CD-ROM" price-list with searchable part numbers....

Good Luck !

J
