Ok..for those that are still with us...

I spent today cleaning the arm, the area around it and a general degrease of everything that I pulled apart. The arm got a once over and was stripped and cleaned of all the old grease.

I got the new cone into position and compressed ready to go and the top arm is back in place with nice new grease 8)

All that's left to do is fit the Hi-Lo's (which need to be machined first so that they go lower), and reattach the ball joint and shockabsorber...then onto side 2

No paint for the top arm, just a good clean..

Bottom arm may get a coat of paint though, in flat black ;) ...the blue grease is enough

All I can say is WOW...sooo comfy now...i can fly over speed humps and hardly notice...I actually tense up expecting a big jolt and bang that's usually accompanied by kidney pain  ...but then nothing happens..it just goes by 8)

Throwing it around a bumpy roundabout shows much less, if any bump steer..so that's good..

Not sure whether handling is better or worse :? ...i think there is more traction available...but ultimately less grip as there is now more positive camber..I'll work on that. :)

Yer you should;ve left it low.
Now its higher, its put the geometry out.
Mine was like this, till i lowered the front down.
Sits like 0* now.
Might have to invest in adjustable bottom arms still tho....

It was too low before, sitting on the bump stops and the tire was hitting the guard cracking the flares...not to mention no suspension travel and the handling although good on smooth roads, caused the front end to bounce all over the place in bumpy corners..

It wants to be about 1 finger lower, and i'll just get either adjustable arms or 1.5 neg 1 piece bottom arms...
