I have the money for the weber.
Once i get the weber, and the new tyres for the new wheels, then i will start saving the money for the 1275.
and here's hopes that the radiator will hold up... small leak.
Still runs under normal which is wicked tho! :D (and thats all that matters).

Webers are overpriced - go the Dellorto DHLA. Its a better (very minutely better mind you) carb anyway.

But if you're leadfooted HIF44 might be the better option ---- supposedly better performance than a standard HS6 and quiter and easier to use than a sidedraught. Just ask Gafmo.

BTW forget about any K&N on a sidedraught carb (either Weber or Dello) unless you've got a carb box or a really crap gooseneck manifold.

At a $1.40 per litre for fuel, i'd be sticking with a Su for a bit longer.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

That's just one of a few reasons I've changed over to a HIF44

That and noise, plus Graham Russell got a fair whack of HP our of my engine with the SU so I'm happy. 8)
