Yes it was a great day, congrats to Brad and all who showed up.

Time for some excuses now, here's mine to start off..:
1. My jets were too lean...
2. I obviously didn't spend enough $$$$$ on my rebuild...

OK let 'em come... :P
 here is my excuse: Graham and Greig are always far too busy fixing up other minis and I am always the last in the queue.. hihihi just joking ... anyway ... I'll get you next time Kevin,... (greetings from Bessie - the little Minimatic - maybe I should have changed her to "manual" for the shoot out....)

Here's my excuse then, timing was too far advanced! I think I picked up 1 or 2 horses on the way home from kev's after a quick adjustment   :P

I had a fantastic time, still going on about it today to some other mates. 8) Great way to start my week off work! 8)

Might have to pop over to Graham's for an RE13 cam grind eh?

Sorry it took so long for me to add to this thread - I've been so busy - had to come back to work to have a break!!!

Firstly, Thanks Brad for organising such a good event. I know what needs to go in behind the scenes for a day like this and you did an awesome job.

Secondly, Thanks Shane for the awesome signwriting on my car. You should all see the looks I get in traffic now!! It's pretty funny. Thanks also to Big willy and Ben for organising to get the airhorns to me. I'll hopefully get them on the car tomorrow!!

Lastly, nice to meet so many Ausmini'ers for the first time in person. Hope to see you all many times at other Ausmini and Mini Club events.

Brad again, Fantastic day !

The Rat-Brick Didnt run as well as it could have, running REAL Rich - but for the amount of changes I've done, I'm pretty happy....I'm sure it
s got another 15ish in it just by tuning.....
then there is the question of Boost !

Maxi, bring the Purple beast around, lets measure that Cam Lift / duration and see whats n there !

Cheers
J

gday guys
i notice in the pics that it was a dyno dynamics machine... did they run them all in 'Shootout' mode?
I was going to get mine dynoed properly (the last one it got tuned on was some really old machine that gave 90hp @ 6000rpm which i think is way too high) and if we all use shootout mode dyno's then i think the results can be compared fairly accurately regardless of whose dyno you use...???

I'd also like to thank Brad for organising it, also Graham Russell and Greig Malaure for the trophies & prizes.
Gotta do it again....

Mini Ha-Ha did pretty well- 75.4 on the 3rd run (1st two he had vapour lock? or plug fouling from too much idling).
Got more power now after fitting bigger jets!
GR, I want a rematch! :P
