Oh man that sux  It must have been really loose gravel to lose it doing 40. When it gets fixed go and find a nice wide dirt track with no trees around (heaps of areas like that up here) and get some practice in.

OUCH :(

Oh well, we all do the odd stupid thing, but think of it this way - you learnt your lesson without hurting yourself or anyone else so it could be worse. Cars can be fixed.

I'm sure there's people on here who can help you.

When you get it going again, if you want to be a bit of a hoon, come along to the mini club and race it on the dirt with experienced people to help you, and less chance of a result like you just had.
[/gratuitous plug]

Hope you get it going again soon! 8)

Sorry to hear that mate, :( chalk up another one for experience, and as Bob said be grateful that nobody was hurt. I'm sure the car will be back on the road in no time.

Sorry to hear ben. I hope you get it all sorted. but i do wonder if it would be cheaper to buy another and transfer the good bits and sell the rest. the work involved in fixing the front end is going to be substantial  Let us know what you decide to do. So i don't have any of the parts you have requested either.

Cheers

Aaron

Oh mate....I am REALLY sorry to see that, but at least you are OK.

If it makes you feel any better......

When I was 18, I poured my heart, soul, and wallet into my first car....a 77 Torana. It was a quick 6 when I got it, but I dropped a worked 308 into it and everyone loved it.

One night I was just out driving, and came to a stop sign. Only saw it at the last minute, thought I would take a chance and gun it through......I got T-boned and totally wiped out. Hurt my hip, shoulder and my pride....and lost my licence (was on red P's).

I reshelled it, and made a much better car out of it. This was how I learnt all the stuff I know.

My advice to you is to LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKE, thank yourself that you are ok, move on and reshell your clubby.

Is the roof buckled? What about the drivers door? It looks bent.

I feel for you mate. I don't like trees either.
Just lock the car in a garage for a while and come back to it in a week or so when all the initial shock is gone, then start planning a re-build. You will find before long there is more damage every time you see the thing, so be prepared for the worst.
Good luck. Hope you weren't injured too bad.

get a rover front from Brickworx and graft that on. Probably not much more work than repairing the damaged panels on the clubby front.
