That's a cool colour for carpet, anything that can't be dirtied easily is a good plan..

Here's a pic of my interior, I'm still deciding the colour for my new carpet and dash. http://www.cruisingmackay.com/photopost ... C01608.JPG

Im really stuck for carpet myself, i have a 63 850 in cherry red. The interior is going to be the original bluish dark grey, you know the one??. I dont know what carpet to stick with it! i dont want it too look terrible, at the moment i am very much thinking of sticking in knox charcoal plush.

http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/colou ... -Plush.jpg

I believe the car used to have dark grey/bluish floor rubber.

Any help help!

I dont want to make the wrong choice

What i mean, is that i dont have time to get down there to look at samples and i dont think i have what is known as an eye for colour.

Dont want some horrible clashing after spending the $'s. Not looking for anything fancy, but somthing that looks right.

Get some colour into those door panels. If you can carry the theme from the door cards to the dash, it'd be ideal.

Black interior tends to rob the interior of visual space. Notice how the white/cream interior pictured earlier looks so much more open and spacious?

Go see an auto trimmer supplies business and see if you can't wade thru their samples and find something that would do the job.

Clubby123, Our dash we made ourselves it was easy.

MDF , American Oak Veneer from Mr Plywood ( $24.00 a sheet ), Two Pak Self Leveling Polyrethane for the top coat.

A little time and patience and you could achieve this look too.
I love the grey carpet.

The lighter the interior the bigger the area will look.

We bought a crappy old dash out of a wrecked clubbie and used it as the template.
Just added a few more holes here and there for our Smith's gauges.

Burgundy Carpet with Bone dash trim and door cards, the seats shouldn't stand out too bad but you might want to try respraying them if you can't afford a retrim. I don't mind the open dash look myself with any extra guages being mounted on a bracket under the dash.
