Very impressive Baracade.

Does the heat exchanger run straight through or is it like a radiator inside? I have always wondered about how much cooling those barrel type of heat exchangers can provide since the air would be in the exchanger for such a short period of time.

They have a tube bundle inside to maximise the contact surfaces & heat transfer.
Have you ever seen an old steam train boiler? They look like that. Work VERY well

The ability of the water to absorb the peak temperature spikes makes an air/water intercooler ideal for a car like this 8)
