The car turns over great but won't fire up.

I think the fuel pump may have crap itself...

it ticks about twice and the shuts up, whereas i recal it ticking away like a mongrel when it was working...

what choo think?...fuel pump?

take a spark plug out of the engine, re attach the lead and see if it has spark.

If it does then if you havnt touched the dissy then id be looking at fueling.

Must be the bling!

If you suspect the fuel pump, go to your carb, pull off the fuel line, turn the engine over (or turn the key on if it is an electric pump). If fuel gets pumped out of the fuel line, then the carb is getting fuel and it's another problem. Simple. 8)
