What do you think of this paint scheme??

I'm not refering to the colours - but the way the roof colour is painted down to the bottom of the pillars.

Does anyone have anymore pictures of Minis painted this way??
Opinions on what two coulours would look good together.

I have seen a couple done this way - will try & dig up pics.

Personally I don't like it, or the colours.
For me the natural place to change colour is at the gutter line.

tarquin is painted like that - me no like!
But that could be because of the crook colours (burgundy, gold roof)

I think that the roof alone provides a nice highlight but down the pillars is too much.
It loses the all one colour and the roof a bit different and becomes a two colour mini if that makes sense :? becomes too busy

my 2 cents :D

We're getting our S re-painted in the near future and my husband likes this scheme.
At the moment our S is white with a burgandy roof but we're changing the colour combination.

I'm still not convinced on this look. I think I'll need to see more Minis painted this way.

i like that one, it isnt just a sudden jump from black to red, its more....i dunno an easy transition, something like that would work really well, ensuring the colors were right

But how much suspension travel would you be able to have with those?

Looks like they are nearly touching just sitting there.

Maybe ok if all you ever do is push it on & off a trailer.
