should be really easy to fit one on a mini because of the roof sill :)
but yeah an easy way to dent your roof, mini roofs aren't load bearing..
well on the sedan anyway, teh vans are a different matter

I used a set of aunger's (i think) when i used to cart my wave ski to the beach. They sat fine on the gutter of the roof. Think they are still in the shed in Adelaide. Will check next week when im there.

We had a set of el cheapo from super cheap racks on a clubman and they fit fine, i think just about any standard rack will fit. We used them to carry surf skis and boy was that an invitation for rust, good thing the car was just a bomb.

Thanks all, will go and hit the guys up at Super cheap (sorry peaches) and Repco.

Bromley - Not sure how the trailer will go for the Muster on the weekend, it's still got the front attached! if you want to tow a shell around for the weekend you are most welcome to it. Either that or bring cutting tools with you.

I got your drawbar sitting in a paddock across from my house! I think the council owns it but hey - public land. Tell Jason to come around one night. We will have to use my car because his car glows in the dark!

G'Day Neata...one of our members turned up the other day with Supercheap racks...

just make sure you go to the trouble of carefully fitting fuel line or similar rubber tubing (split down the middle so it forms a U shape) under the four blades in the gutter and where anything is likely to rub against paint.

Seeya Saturday :!: , Mick
