Hi
you should take the pictures and a quote to fix and send to the council concerned.
Explain how bad these speed humps are for antique cars :) and as a rate payer you would rather they put in something else.
You might be lucky and receive a sorry or money.
It works with tyres and potholes. (sometimes)

I find the RC40 doesn't sit very low at all, mine is mounted quite high at the rear, ben is right, it's at the front where it meets the extractors is where most the scrapage occurs..

My exhaust hit a paver that was on the road one day... I was like na i wont drive over it with the wheels so ill make it go down the middle of the car and doof hit the damn things, and made it fly accross the road

Mine hung real low at the maniflow LCB, so I did something to improve it. I binned the standard U-bolt clamp and made one out of 20x3mm steel flat bar, with a 5/16" clamp bolt. Same as the little maniflow Y piece ones but bigger diameter.
Hasn't scraped since. 8)
