The mini convertible I recently bought had been sitting for 8 months but was driving before then. I just want to know what would be the problem if the clutch has gone squishy like the brakes when they haven't been blead.

There could be an air leak somewhere in the system, check for a leaky master cylinder or slave cylinder...

Yep, if parked a long time it's probably leaked out the bottom seal on the MC, inside the car.
By all means refill and bleed it, but a new seal kit is a good idea. :wink:
