Price you pay for having a highly strung state of tune. I don't have heaps of cash but I have some fun money and I had fun today which is what I think it is all about. If I could not afford to break it - I would not be on the track risking it. More money? Yeah, but it was always going to get more money thrown at it

My pics for the day [well the ones my lad took for me]

Well, it looks like you boys all (mostly) had a good day. Sorry i couldn't make it, but life doesn't wait for trackdays. And i raped my car enough last time

Sorry to hear about the donk, but its great to hear a 1.40 first time out. Looks like i might have to go out again and lower my time some more. But i didn't drive mine to break it last time... Hell, i didn't even fall off the track or cook the brakes. Should be some left in it. If i could do a 1.35 i'd be stoked. Believe me, its a long way from a 1.40 to a 1.36.

Great to see ss wanabe finally cracked the 2-minute mark, even better to hear that aussie was giving him a hard time

So who's gonna come to the Collingrove Hillclimb come 'n' try day?
I gotta do at least a 40 there. My mate did a 42 in a Pintara TRX, and i can outrun him easy :D

Just back from the track. Went and trailered the Donk home. I pulled it out from the shed it slept in, in front of the boys from the Porsche club and they invited me to join in a sprint with them  8) Pity the Donk is a non-starter this morning.

One wicked Fararri out there as well [Spider I think] - sorry no camera

i got some nice shots of everyone, but especially the battle between stefan and you.
i got a tiny bit of the crash, and one bit of stefan running off the track, and one of whodat's clunky sounding motor (before he took it out for another run)
and a few extras you'll have to wait and see

yeah i had a good time even though i had jack all sleep and didnt even get to race :)
i think you'll find the video's are extraordinarily steady for hand held cam work, even when fully zoomed in filming across the other side of the track. 8)
