Besser, it's frustrating but what can you do ? Tell the Tightarses to piss off and the High Priced Harry's their dreaming. Get a price in your head and ignore the rest.
I often watch something I don't need at the present time, if it's cheap I put in a bid, if it's not I let it go.

I dont know much about ebay, but ive always found that the philosophy of selling/buying in the mini community was 'buy cheap/sell cheap'. nothing wrong with helping another enthusiast.

Which is one of the reasons why someone complained to me the other day about the mini club not knowing the value of things (whinge whinge).

usually there is always haggling to be had in a sale, so most people set the price a little higher, with the expectation that it will drop. Some people set a genuine price and if they're genuine people, youre only mucking them around if you try to drop it.

But there are special cases, and theres nothing wrong with asking ? Im about to leave for O/S for quite a while, and i just want to get my mini on the road before i go and have some fun. Obviously i want most of my money to go towards my travels not my car. But things keep going wrong.

Tell me that isnt a good cause...
help me out :D
