A neighbour just down the road has had a brown mini in his garage covered in stuff (only today I found out it was a roundy, from driving past I had assumed it was like Brown Clubman's clubby) for ages. Everytime I've driven past and seen it I've always had a good reason for not stopping...
Tonight I had no excuse, and thought to myself "bugger it Anton did it" and so I pulled over, stuck my head in the garage and yelled out hello. Well the whole family came out suspicously looking at this stranger outside the garage, and as soon as I asked about the Morris it was smiles all round.
Turns out the owner (David) inherited the car from his mother, which was originally a deluxe. He has since put in a warm 1275, and has been meaning to get it registered and back on the road. Turns out that having a young family has made this difficult. Anyway, we chatted for a while, and he wrote down ausmini.com.
Just thought I share this little story with you, for if I hadn't of heard Anton's Pops story, I probably would have talked myself out of stopping tonight. I'm glad I did though
