ok i went to check my oil and my dipstick is stuck? i tried using my 21inch cannons to pull it out but i didnt want to break it... tried puttin oil on it to lube it but it still wont come? anyone had this problem before? know wat to do?

Never had or heard of that problem before.. You'd think with all the oil in there it would be constantly lubricated... have you tried grabbing it and turning as you pull? Vice grips? You could drill the head off the damn thing.. worst case you'll be looking at getting a new dipstick. Shouldn't cost too much to replace.

Yeah you won't break it, dipstick tube might come out too, but no big deal.

I was thinking that it could be the little section that is pressed out longitudinally to make three springy interference fit things ....may have brokeddead :cry:

Crank is normally an awful long way from the dipstick... would need to be in a couple of pieces to hit it!! :lol:
I would put vice grips around the dipstick tube, pull the lot out... :wink:

I told you to get a longer one as it wasn't reaching the oil any more. You shouldn't have used the hammer to Drive it down further to reach the oil though ! I have never seen this happen.
