i'm not lazy and i will be searching around and i will find one eventually but i thought i'd ask you guys and gals in the hope that you'll save me a heap of time. basically i'm after a site that lists all the model and has a bunch of pics so i can decide which model is most pleasing to my eye. if you haven't guessed i'm very new to the world of mini's and i'm in the market for one, just dont't know which one exactly :)

cheers

I am trying to decode the BMC/Leyland vin codes so if the Vin prefix could go with the pics it would be a great help to the mini community.

See, thats what you guys are here for !

I was actually thinking (if you have a look at the page) that they would go under "Variants"
Or, maybe they deserve a whole section to themselves.. dunno... whaddya reckon ?

Ok, I'm now using the Hotbricks Mini list ... I Know there are a LOT more than that, but its a start...

Ok, the website is now Live, and ready to start getting pics....

There is a list there showing Body numbers / Engine Numbers, Names and Sizes...

Its based on a MS Access Database and can be quickly and easily edited / changed added to etc . . . .

I have no hassles with spending an hour a night updating this, as long as we get close to a comprehensive list....

Cheers all

Why a database...why not one post for each model in a sticky on Ausmini that everyone can have a look at..... :D
(Ergghh supported by a database)

eh, just a foible of mine....

Its now SEARCHABLE by all sort of things, and a lot more dynamic, so if we need to do something funky, its a lot easier now, then later !

There are a LOT of bits of information we need, as well as a lot of models....

DB seemed sane to me . . .
