Well I'm excited now. Since Friday afternoon we have been working on the beast. After a couple of hours prep on Friday arvo, about 13 hours on Saturday, 10 on Sunday and an hour or so fine tuning today, the 1100 has been ripped out and a stonker of a 1380 has been put in! :D
Specs are:
1100 'S' block bored 40thou
Semi-flat-top pistons (?)
Stroker crank
Cooper S cam ground to an RE13
Ported AEG316 head
40mm Dellorto DHLA
4 syncro box freshly rebuilt
There was more.....but can't remember.

Has been very hard work but it has paid off. Was intertesting driving it home today when I gave it a bit the whole cabin filled with smoke  Lucky it was only because of the breather being drilled in the wrong spot - quickly fixed when we got back!

Big thanks goes out to:
Ben Tebutt for building the engine, all the advice, hard work and patience
Michael Glendenning (minimic) for all his hard work.
Chris.....Didn't know his last name - only met him on Saturday. He had a heap of knowledge and put in the hard yards.
Steve "Beave". for helping with the fine tuning today.

I should really go to bed now..........but I can never sleep.
