Hey guys,

Wow when the Doc said that Tassie had alot of minis, he wasn't kidding! I saw at least 8 minis in the 4 days I was there. If i describe em maybe someone here actually owns the minis!

Launceston: I saw a clubbie there and a hod yellow roundnose with what sounded like a webber. The back window has the sticker "love this hot brick" or something like that. Looks sweet... even in the rain

In hobart clubbies were a plenty in the Battery Point region. Lots of clubmans... yellow, green with a black bootlid, red, but the best by far was a light blue coloured roundnose? one that SREAMED through historic Richmond's main road with (I think) a huge ass webber. Didn't see much of it, only caught a glimps of the back of the car as it was going like a scalded cat on speed! I thought for a second that it reminded me of the Targa Tasmania video that i saw of The Mini Man...

Anyway it was a religious experience

LOL

Yeah not much of a holiday... short break really... In my opinion, not worth it because now I am totally swamped at work and stress level rising again. This will always happen when i go on holidays so I might as well go for as long as I can next time!

The weather was crap! I feel sorry for all the minis as there must be a huge rust problem there

I have that problem too. When you get back there is so much work mounted up it takes weeks to catch up. The trick is to take two weeks or more holidays at a time. That way somoeone else *has* to do some of it.

you could always just become a "full-time" uni student and never worry about work at all (especially if you do arts  )

its great.....except you'll be pretty poor....JAM, you'd have to sell the little fella into slavery or something just to get by........

Well in the North West part of the state, Burnie, Ulverstone, Devenport, and areas, of which i hardly every leave Burnie, I see about 15 minis regularly. Just enough to give a good population of minis, But also to keep them very rare.
So that is good.
