I am wanting to import a few sets of mag wheels from the UK.
Has anyone done this?
What are the rules and regulations for doing this?
And what is the best way of doing this (eg Shipping)?

by ship would be the cheapest i'd say but definitley the slowest, if theyre expensive you will get slugged with import tax and other fees, do a search here on ausmini there was a discussion about import costs.

maybe try contact someone like Midland Wheels and have a talk to them, as they probably would've exported to here before.

gafmo is right tho, make sure you can't get them here already, it will save you a lot of hassles

I know a bloke here in Orange that imported a set of minilites from U.K. Had to bring them in one at a time to avoid import duty. One a month I think - can't remember who he bought them off, but they are are pretty well known over there and advertise in the U.K. mini mags. Might have been Avonbar but I'm not sure. He reckoned they knew all the Oz import regulations and orgynised everything for him. Can prolly find out more if ya want.

I know a guy in Qld. who bought some from Huddersfield Spares. The Chrome Sportspac type. Wreckons they worked out real cheap.
