I will have these soon... just waiting for the mounts to be welded. Will be using the original mounting brackets.

I had a set of these in a previous mini , I used the SAAS sliding subframes , the front legs of them fit perfectly into the seat brackets on the cross member and I locked the rear subframe legs(they are an adjustable bracket with multi bolt holes , just put 2 bolts per side) to the bracket that's meant to be bolted to the floor . The upshot is it used the factory SAAS subframes and still tilted fowards to allow (small people only) access to the back seat and can slide forwards or back for different drivers .

Here are mine - I have one in the car and the other waiting to go in. Revolution sells the subframes for the minis too - $135 each

Very comfy and when I get the other sub frame for the other seat - the whole car will be done in black

I've only got the rails... I don't think they sell the whole frame anymore.

News on the seats front...

Well Pete here at Bellarine Mini Centre has just taken over the runnings of a Datto/Nissan parts place (so he's doing Mini's and Datto's now), as he's a Datto nut aswell (has a 260Z rally car). Anyways, he needs to clear a shed for his workshop, that is full of engines, gearboxs, diffs and SEATS! $30ea for any seat!

Hoping to pick up a pair of N13 EXA seats!

Got them for $68.00 on EBay,

Anyone had the pleasure of fitting them to a mini?

I have some subaru liberty seats in mine,

Very comfortable, I little wide but not a real problem.

Mounted by adapting the original positions from my mini seats.

i forgot what theyre actually called but its a cobra seat designed for caterhams and lotus 7 type cars, nice leather trim, classic looking but with a high back and nice almost race seat style sides. very supportive and comfotable, importantly quite skinny yet a fatty like me fits in no worries, and fits on a minisport cobra mini sliding frame.. id highly recomend it to anyone! i only fitted one because who cares about the passenger! theyre available from revolution racegear or probably anywhere who sells cobra seats

i'm in the process of installing Hyundai Getz seats.

comfy and just small enough picked up a pair from the wreckers for $180. fabric matches quite well to my redone back seat too!

they are quite heavy seats and i've since realised the mounting rails are different heights.... so what i'm doing is solid mounting them (no slidey) as removing the slider parts has given me only a 6mm height discrepancy and also reduced a fair portion of weight to counteract my chunky fabricated brackets....
