JAM, didn't catch a price, sorry. Just go onto your RTA site and have a look see.

I'm sitting here gigling at the prices of everyone elses custom plates!

My "POEEE" plates cost $310, and guess what, NO EXTRA YEARLY FEE! Once you buy them, they are yours forever, unless you sell them ofcourse.

ummm, yeah well the CHEAPEST plates here (Sunny Queensland, those "Smart State" plates are a wank)start out at about 275 bucks. That will get ya your ORIGINAL 3 number/3 letter combo in couloured plates.

Then things get a little more expensive, ya can have the option of 2 numbers/3 letters in assorted colours at $395

There are also themed plates, starting FROM $395

Black and white Retro plates are only available in 3/3 combination staring with N,O, or P, and are from $255.

THEN, if ya wanna go really stupid ya can get Prestige plates, which as someone said start at $2195.

NOW....... I always thought scalping was illegal, but they can even auction their plates on the PPQ website. My bro in law was interested in getting me the MINI ME plates that were on offer there. Would ya believe the F****** wanted 4 GRAND(minimum) for em??

But here's my plate :-) Image
$425

Nup, ya buy the plate, and you legally own it. Still gotta pay full rego, but ya dont have to pay the roughly 15 bucks for ordinary plates each year.
